Dear Hgtv, This old house, Bob Villa, and anyone else that will listen,27 yrs ago my husband and I embarked upon a nearly abandoned and mess of a house, long story short, with 3 kids and rolled up sleeves we went to work. The house is circa 1865 and although we have done what we could to make it cleaner, drier, warmer, etc, It still needs so many things I am overwhelmed. I turn 50 in 2 days , and I cant even count how mant this old house shows Ive watched, and Hgtv looking for the latest greatest tips, tricks, of the trades etc.The frustrating part is always seeing what the PROS do and a nice budget anything is possible. This house every square inch of it has been loved by me.I have only had one wish, and that is… If someone with the know-how could pay "this old house" a visit and see its potential the way I have for so long. I would be forever grateful.I love the historic value of this home, and it deserves attention. Sincerely Kathleen Barr home is handmade red brick and sandstone foundation, two stories, in appr 3 acres Pittsburgh, Pa 15147

please Bob Villa and team help an OLD HOuSE IN PITTSBURGH!! thankyou

  4. I watch this old house with regularity. I have a son who is a quadriplegic and our house needs some modifications to make life easier for him. Some doors need to be widened, ramps to outside areas installed. His room could use some adjustments also. Kitchen needs some work also. He and I occupy this house and I've had some renovations done but money is now scarce so have held back on many things. I'm sure there are many other people who may need help more then we do but would certainly be pleased if we graced with your group to make these adjustments to our home.
