Mood Altering Design

A small design firm in New York named Diamond & Baratta believes that design can alter your brain chemistry and make you feel good. I prescribe to the same design drug as much as I possibly can! Their style is warm, homey and saturated with color. I love it! It makes me feel good just looking at their portfolio. Interestingly enough, I designed a very similar room in New Jersey for a small, growing family. They wanted a portrait of their dog above the fireplace! So it looks like the Room Recipe for a “folk-art inspired” traditional family room is color, horse accessories, and a highlighted fireplace.
