I love open shelving — it’s on every other page of Met Home and Apartment Therapy did “12 Uses for IKEA Lack Shelves” — mmmmm, I LOVE the LACK!

It gives me a million chances to accessorize in threes (straight out of the designer rulebook which I burned along with pics of my ex-boyfriend(s)). But is it really practical?
